![]() ![]() What I think might be most productive to discuss are the following:ġ: What is the best method to learn this format? I believe that hyper-turbos are heavily range based, so the way I'm initially looking to approach this is to figure out profitable shoving ranges in different positions with different stack sizes. ![]() we're starting very short with 3min blinds so we're basically already in shove/fold mode, min-raising is to get more value, not really to steal blinds (unless we know villain is very prone to completing then c/f blank flops) I have a reasonable understanding of the nature of the game: i.e. 3.5s are small compared to my BR so 100+ bi swings won't kill me (might bruise my ego). Hyper Turbos are very swingy: I've played a lot of poker and already have over 200bi's on stars to start at the $3.5s so I'm prepared for this. To make this discussion as productive as possible, I'll let you know what I already know: I work full time which limits my ability to put in my ideal volume at cash games, but I could potentially play a few hundred hyper-turbo's a day. I've never played much with turbo or hyper-turbo SnG's and have always been more of a 6max cash game player. It's a new year and I'm looking to try some new things. ![]()
